Educators

About four of these seats. Permanent, and the hardest thing here to put a number on.

We are building something worth building and we are willing to spend on it. The culture of this place matters to us more than almost anything else — an adult site with no idea what it stands for is a pile of files with a login — and you are a large part of how that gets settled. So that is what the money is for. Not a word count. The thing you know that most people here do not.

Tell us how. The practical stuff, said plainly. What actually works. What everybody is doing slightly wrong because nobody told them and they were far too embarrassed to ask.

And tell us what not to. “No. Not that, not in there. They put a flared base on things for a reason, and every emergency room in this country has already heard the one about the lamp.”

That post is funnier than anything we could write, more useful than anything else on the site that week, and there is nowhere else you can put it without collecting a strike for your trouble. Here you can actually say it. Use the word. Show the picture. You already know which of your posts got buried, and you already know it was the one that would have helped somebody.

And we want your opinion on us. Who better to tell an adult site where it is getting it wrong than somebody who does this for a living? Say so in the thread, in public. Most places like this are shopping for an endorsement. We would rather be told no, and we will pay for the privilege.

None of this is easy to size, so we are making a bet. $500 to get going, $300 when we agree and your first submission lands, $200 at the end. That is the cash and we are not going to dress it up as more than it is.

What comes after is promotion, and a great deal of it. Featured content, front page, the thing we put in front of new arrivals first. We want this to be a cornerstone of the site rather than a corner of it — and if we get that right it is worth considerably more to you than five hundred dollars. You will be a large part of whether we get it right.

How To Get In

  1. Ask for a code. Button below. Two minutes, no interview, nobody rings you.

Asking is not an agreement and it is not a job offer. It starts a review, and that is all it does. Nothing is owed by either of us until there is something signed.
  2. Show us two things that look like your work. Not your best two — your most representative two. Links are fine, and links are better: we would rather look at them where they already live than hold copies of them.

They do not go anywhere. Not posted, not published, not shown to anybody, and nothing of yours appears on this site until your application is accepted and you have agreed the terms in writing. That order never changes.
  3. We read it, and we come back either way. There are two answers and you will get one of them.

Yes, there is a paid slot. You get a brief — one page, plain English, what you deliver and what we pay for it. Say yes, send us the first part, and $300 goes out. The last $200 lands when the run finishes.

Not right now. Sometimes the paid slots are simply full. Your code still works, so post whatever you want and tag it #review for consideration when one opens — and you still get every bit of the promotion. Your name, your handles and your links travel with your work exactly the same as anybody else's. That part was never the paid half.

If it takes us more than a week, chase us. That means something went wrong at our end, not yours.

Twenty founding slots. After that it’s still a good deal — just not this one.
